Transition to Community Managed Library
Armthorpe Library will be closed from Monday 28th July 2014 until Monday 4th August 2014. On the 4th August it will re-open as a Community Managed Library, fully supported by the Council with the full range of book stock and resources, but managed by the community on a day to day basis.

Books; Paperbacks; Large Print Books; Adults and Children's DVD's; Spoken Word on Cassettes and CDs.
Story time; Books on Prescription; Reader's Groups; Photocopier; Fax; Meeting Room; Stamps for sale; Computers with Internet access*, Word Processing, Spreadsheets, database and presentation software.
* Internet Access is available free of charge for the first two hours then is charged at a cost of £1.00 per hour or part thereafter. Guests are charged 50p for half an hour and £1.00 per hour or part thereafter (excluding under 16’s or exempt borrowers).
Call into Armthorpe library to discuss issues which affect you in your neighbourhood. The libraries provide you with a face-to-face, one stop shop for Council services in a welcoming and friendly environment. While you are there, why not take advantage of the library's extensive services.

A room is available where you will be able to discuss your business in private. If you run a community group or other organisation, why not book our meeting room so that your group can meet or access more advice at this centre.
We provide a display area with leaflets and posters to enable you to access information yourself.
