Mobile Libraries
The Mobile Library and Travelling Library provide library facilities to Doncaster residents who live more than two miles from a library. The Mobile Library visits mainly urban locations, and the Travelling Library visits mainly rural communities.
Services are also provided to nurseries, children's centres, industrial estates, nursing and residential homes and adult education centres.
Mobile Library Services
The vehicle is easily accessible for people of all ages. It has a lift that can accommodate wheelchair users and those with mobility problems.
Lending Services
There is a wide range of materials to loan, including fiction and non-fiction collections for adults and children, large print, paperbacks - all are free of charge. Spoken word recordings, DVDs are also available to rent for a small charge.
