Temporary Change to Doncaster Central Library opening hours

As work on the new Library and Heritage Centre gets underway, staff will be busy in the current Central Library with clearing and sorting the books, paperwork and ephemera that has accumulated in the 50 years the building has been open.  As part of our preparations for decanting, opening hours will be changing over the next few months. We will update our website regularly so please keep checking.

Opening Hours from 7th October 2019

From the week commencing 7th October 2019, Doncaster Central Library will be closed on Fridays in addition to Wednesdays. This is to prepare for the opening of your new Library & Museum in 2020. The first Friday closed will be 11th October 2019.

Monday   9.00am - 6.00pm

Tuesday   9.00am - 6.00pm

Wednesday   Closed

Thursday   9.00am - 7.00pm (6.00 pm on floor 2)

Friday   Closed

Saturday   9.30am - 5.00pm
