Revised Central Library opening hours

As work on the new Library and Heritage Centre gets underway, staff will be busy in the current Central Library with clearing and sorting the books, paperwork and ephemera that has accumulated in the 50 years the building has been open.  As part of our preparations for decanting, opening hours will be changing over the next few months. We will update our website regularly so please keep checking.

Week beginning 15 April 2019

Central Library floor 2 will close at 6.00pm on Wednesdays and Thursdays. Floor 1 will remain open until 7.00pm

From June Central Library including the Local Studies library will close on a Wednesday.
