A Christmas Fayre and Learning Languages

On Friday 27th November Hatfield Community Library had a wonderful night as they hosted part of the Hatfield Village Fayre. Over 300 people came through the library, even the torrential rain did not deter people! Christmas Tales with Granddad

On Tuesday 8th December Allan from the Literacy Team held a special Rhyme Time at the Central Children’s Library. The Literacy Team also invited a local nursery to join the regular group, along with performers from Cast’s Christmas Tales With Granddad. 26 children and adults had lots of fun watching the puppets and singing songs.

Sprotbrough Community Library Activities and Events

Thorne Knit & Natter

Thorne Library Knit & Natter group held a table top sale on the 26 th November in the library selling all the items that they have been extremely busy knitting over the last few months. In all they managed to raise £300 which is being donated to Donmentia.

Children in Need 2015

Doncaster Central Library held a bake sale on the 13 th November to help raise money for Children in Need. As well as organising the event staff from central library baked and donated the cakes and scones. Some library staff also gave up their free time to come in and help with the bake sale.
