Scawthorpe Community Library
Scawthorpe Community Library are in need of volunteers who would be open to working behind the counter and using the library computer system. On-site training is provided by experienced volunteer leaders. If you would like to volunteer, then please e-mail the library at ScawthorpeCommunityLibrary@gmail.com or telephone on 01302 781786. Alternately, you can turn up in person and ask one of the volunteers for a volunteer form.

Normal opening hours are as follows:
Monday 1.00 p.m. - 5.00 p.m.
Tuesday 10.00 a.m. - 2.00 p.m.
Wednesday 10.00 a.m. - 2.00 p.m.
Thursday 10.00 a.m. - 2.00 p.m.
Friday 1.00 p.m. - 4.30 p.m.
Knit & Natter
Come along to Scawthorpe Community Library and join our Knit & Natter group. Tuesday mornings from 11am until 1pm. Experienced knitters or beginners welcome.
Books; Paperbacks; Large Print Books; Adult's & Children's DVDs; Spoken Word CDs.
Reference Books; Homechoice information; Photocopier; Scanning facilities; Computers with Internet access*, Word Processing, Spreadsheets, database and presentation software.
* Internet Access is available free of charge for the first two hours then is charged at a cost of £1.00 per hour or part thereafter. Guests are charged 50p for half an hour and £1.00 per hour or part thereafter
There is also a selection of donated books which encourage donations of 50p or 25p for children's books. The Library appreciates any donations made, whether they are books, stationary or monetary in nature
